Tottenham Hotspur have set a date for talks with Barcelona.
“Tottenham will hold talks on the transfer of Clément Langlais after their friendly against Barcelona on September 9,” Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reported on Monday (June 6).
Lingleton joined Spurs from Barcelona on loan last year. At the time, Spurs had missed out on all of their original targets and had no choice but to bring him in on short notice.
The move was not a bad one. Lenglet made 35 appearances across all competitions last season, and proved to be a vital part of the team’s extreme downturn.
That didn’t last with Spurs. Lenglet returned to Barcelona last month after his loan deal expired. Tottenham also announced the news on their official website.
He’s not likely to play for Barcelona. Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez hasn’t included Langlais in his plans for next season. Barcelona are also looking for a team to take him. 토토사이트
According to the report, Tottenham are planning to discuss the signing of Langlais after their friendly against Barcelona at the Estadio Olimpico Luis Campanis on September 9.
A transfer fee is expected to be a key issue. Barcelona want €15 million for Lenglet, while Tottenham have set their sights on €5 million.
This is likely to be the last round of negotiations. The outlet added: “Napoli and Al Nasr are also targeting Lallana. Tottenham need to reach an agreement with Barcelona as soon as possible.”
