The 2023 season has passed by a third… Seoul and Daejeon fierce pursuit in Ulsan solo

‘Hana One Q K League 1 (Division 1) 2023’ is showing a different aspect from the previous season. A third of the season has passed, and Jeonbuk Hyundai, which has been competing for the championship each season, is struggling in the lower ranks, while the ‘fallen famous house’ FC Seoul and the promoted team Daejeon Hanati are in the upper ranks.

As of the 11th, out of 12 K-League 1 matches this season, Ulsan Hyundai is overwhelmingly leading with 10 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss (31 points).

Ulsan, which won the championship for the first time in 17 years last year, is conquering the K-League 1 stage with a stronger appearance. His stable play in offense and defense stands out enough to rank second in scoring (23 goals) and first in least goals (9 goals).

Ulsan boasts a solid power enough to make a double squad. Joo Min-gyu (6 goals, 1 assist) and Rubikson (5 goals, 1 assist), who have newly joined the team, are leading the offense. Existing resources, Martin Adam (1 goal, 2 assists), Um Won-sang (2 goals, 2 assists), and Bako (3 goals) are still showing their skills. In defense, veterans Kim Young-kwon, Kim Tae-hwan, and Kim Ki-hee are performing evenly.

In addition, Hwang Jae-hwan, who scored multiple goals against Daegu FC and became MVP in the 11th round, as well as under-22 (U-22) cards such as Kang Yun-gu and Cho Hyun-taek, are performing beyond expectations.

Seoul, which has lost its pride by staying in Final Round B for the last three seasons in a row, climbed to second place with 7 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses (23 points).

Seoul scored a total of 43 goals last season, but has already scored 25 goals (the team’s top scorer) this season. Previously, Seoul coach Ahn Ik-soo’s style was closer to ‘build-up soccer’ that unfolds slowly, but this season, he is having fun with counter-attack soccer, in which he actively clashes with opponents, steals the ball, and aims at the opponent’s goal at high speed.

National striker Na Sang-ho scored 8 goals and 1 assist, leading the scoring team, while Lim Sang-hyeop, Park Dong-jin and Palosevich scored 3 goals each, giving strength to the attacking team. Hwang Ui-jo is a bit disappointed with only two goals, but he is giving strength to the attacking team with his unique break-off and linked play. 먹튀검증

Daejeon Hana Citizen, who was promoted from the K-League 2 (2nd division) after 8 years, is also a strong wind. Daejeon ranked 3rd with 6 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses (21 points). Daejeon is also showing hot attacking football. Daejeon, who scored 20 goals, was ranked third in team scoring after Seoul (25 goals) and Ulsan (23 goals). The offense, led by Thiago (4 goals, 2 assists), Lee Jin-hyun (3 goals, 4 assists), and Leandro (1 goal, 3 assists), draws attention.
