Dele Alli wants to be good at soccer again.
“Dele Alli is the first player to return to training ahead of the new season and is desperate to be fit for games in early August,” the Mirror reported on July 7.
Alli was once touted as England’s future, with his best performances coming at Tottenham Hotspur. His excellent vision and sharp kicks led to comparisons to the likes of Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, and Paul Scholes. He was an exceptional talent that everyone recognized.
Strangely, however, Ali’s skills began to decline. He was more interested in other things than soccer, and his soccer skills were noticeably different. Eventually, managers began to turn their backs on him, and he moved to Everton.
Even at Everton, Ali wasn’t given a chance. He was sent on loan to Besiktas to try and get some playing time, but he was disappointing there as well, and to make matters worse, he got injured and returned to Everton on a shaky note. 안전놀이터추천
Sean Dyche said: “There was a sense that he was playing good football again and wanted to play. But he has to stay fit. I’ve met with him but I haven’t seen him train yet, and I haven’t seen him train with us. It’s important to check his health first.”
