K-League ‘5th year’ Martha, finally going to part 1… “I’m really happy”

Martha shared her impressions of scoring her first goal in the K-League 1 stage.

Daejeon Hana Citizen won 3-2 against FC Seoul in the 5th round of the ‘Hana 1 Q K League 1 2023’ held at Daejeon World Cup Stadium at 7:00 pm on the 1st. After the opening, Daejeon went undefeated in 5 matches (3 wins, 2 draws) and rose to second place in the league (11 points).

It was a thrilling victory. Daejeon, which has been promoted to the K-League 1 stage after 8 years, is on the rise without losing in the first 4 games of the season. And the flow continued in this game as well. Daejeon took a two-goal lead with an opponent’s own goal in the 14th minute and Jo Yoo-min’s header goal in the 20th minute. However, Seoul also scored in the 25th minute of the first half and the 5th minute of the second half, and the match became the starting point.

Daejeon changed this. In the 13th minute of the second half, Martha came in instead of Junho Bae. Martha joined Daejeon through the transfer market in the summer of 2021. Until last season, he recorded 19 goals and 5 assists in 51 K-League 2 (including promotion playoffs), which was a great help to the match. However, this was his first appearance due to his injury earlier this year.

A situation where the sense of the game is not perfect. However, as soon as Martha was put in, she energized the attack with flashing play. And it came to fruition. In the 43rd minute of the second half, in a quick counterattack situation, Martha pushed Kim In-kyun’s cross. Shortly thereafter, the match was over. It was a thrilling 3-2 victory for Daejeon.

After the match, Martha, who was the main contributor to victory, met with reporters. First of all, Martha said, “It feels like I’ve been playing for the first time in six months. It’s been a long time since I’ve played. I was really happy. Personally, I think I’m in about 60-70% of my physical condition, but I’m grateful that the coach let me run for about 30 minutes.” said. 메이저사이트
